Birkin 30, Birkin 35 and Birkin 40: compare eBay prices by size
Method reviewed · Sold-price evidence is labeled per row.
Birkin 30, Birkin 35 and Birkin 40 should have separate comparison groups. A size label does not tell you the leather, construction, condition or documented year. The editable search starts with Birkin 35; the table has separate searches for 30, 35 and 40. All dollar bands remain unverified.
Compare sold results with active listings
Both eBay US searches update as you type. Check the condition and year in each result; keywords alone do not enforce those matches.

Comparison groups by reference, year and condition
Do not decide that a larger bag is better value just because its asking price is lower. Compare usable dimensions, weight information from the seller, handle clearance and condition. Keep standard Birkin and HAC results separate when their proportions differ; a similar number in the title is not enough to make them comparable.
These are comparison groups, not appraisals. A row marked Not verified means we have no reviewed sold-price sample for it. Missing evidence is not a zero price or proof that nothing sold.

| Birkin 35, same leather Record the stamp evidence and stated production year separately. | Inspect base, corner wear, handle darkening and disclosed repairs. What moves the price comparison
- Size and usable fit
- A nominal width does not establish capacity, height, weight or how the bag carries. Ask for measurements and compare them with the items you plan to carry.
- Leather and shape
- Different leathers and construction can affect structure and appearance. Record sagging, creasing and any restoration rather than treating all bags of one size as equivalents.
- Condition by area
- A single word such as good can hide quite different wear. Note corners, handles, base, interior and hardware separately so another reader can understand the comparison.
How to read an individual listing
- Ask for width, height and depth measurements of the actual bag, in one stated unit.
- Check the size and construction against photographs and any documentation; do not rely on the listing title alone.
- Compare stamp information, leather, hardware, repairs and included accessories within each size rather than across the full search.
Red flags before you compare or buy
- HAC and standard Birkin dimensions blended without explanation.
- A nominal size presented as an exact guarantee of usable interior capacity.
- An unverified fixed premium for one size or a percentage discount for every repair.
How to build a defensible sold-price band
- Choose one reference or size, a documented year group, material and condition. Record the search, marketplace, currency and date window.
- Inspect the underlying sold results. Exclude parts, replicas, mismatched models, repeated listings and results whose actual accepted-offer price is hidden. Completed alone also includes unsold results.
- Record the visible item price separately from shipping and other costs. Keep uncertain transactions out of a verified band and explain why they were excluded.
- Show the reviewed sample count, observed minimum and maximum, date range, check date and method. A small sample is a limitation, not a reason to invent a smoother estimate.
Active listings describe what sellers request or current bids. They do not establish sold value. Even a sold listing is an observation, not independent confirmation of authenticity or a settled payment. A search link alone is not the evidence behind a price band.
For a buying budget, add quoted shipping and any applicable tax, import, inspection, repair or service costs separately. Keep unresolved costs labeled; do not silently treat them as zero.
Questions buyers ask
What size is the 35 Hermes Birkin bag?
Birkin 35 is a nominal size designation commonly used for its approximate width in centimeters. It is not a full measurement of the listed bag. Ask for actual width, height, depth and handle clearance before deciding whether it fits.
How do I find Hermes Birkin 35 sold listings on eBay?
Use the Birkin 35 sold-search link on this page. It applies both Sold and Completed filters. Check each result for the right size, leather and condition; an accepted offer may not expose the actual transaction amount.
