Sony Alpha a7 III and ILCE-7M3 model guide
Alpha a7 III is the marketing name and ILCE-7M3 is Sony's model code for the same camera body. Listings also compress the name to a7III or write Alpha 7 III, so one literal spelling misses valid results.
Names and model-number spellings
Listings can use any of these forms. The try-it box below groups them with eBay's comma-based OR syntax.
- Sony a7 III
- Sony a7III
- Sony Alpha 7 III
- ILCE-7M3
Region versions
Imported ILCE-7M3 bodies can differ in menu-language availability, charger plug and warranty coverage. Confirm those details with the seller rather than inferring them from the model code alone.
What to verify in a listing
- A base-label photo showing ILCE-7M3
- Shutter count and mechanical-shutter condition
- Sensor, mount, screen and card-slot condition
- Battery, body cap and the included charging method, whether an adapter and cable or a third-party external charger
Build a better model search
Learn the syntax in the eBay search operators guide, or combine it with the filters explained in the eBay Advanced Search guide.
Try an OR search
Try comma-separated alternatives inside parentheses, with quotes around multi-word terms and additional keywords outside the group. Our dated Browse API test tried the parentheses-and-comma format; compare the returned listings to see how this example behaves.
