eBay auctions ending soon
An ending-soon snapshot is a fixed view of auctions eBay reported as closing within a stated window. It is useful for scanning a category, while bids and end times continue to change after the snapshot.
Doing it on eBay itself
- Search for the item you want.
- Set Buying Format to Auction.
- Sort by "Time: ending soonest". eBay's "Ending within" filter narrows it further.
What AuctionMapper adds
The boards are snapshots by collector category. Each has an "Uncontested only" view for auctions with no bids at the snapshot, a current-bid price band, and the snapshot time shown on the board.
No bids yet
On any board, turn on "Uncontested only" to see auctions that had no bids when the snapshot was taken.

How do I find auctions ending soon on eBay itself?
Search for the item, set Buying Format to Auction, then sort by "Time: ending soonest". eBay's "Ending within" filter narrows it further. That works well for one search at a time.
What does AuctionMapper add?
Snapshot boards of eBay auctions closing in the next one to six hours (on the coin boards, up to 24 hours when fewer than 12 end within six), grouped by collector category, an "Uncontested only" view that shows auctions with no bids at the snapshot, and a current-bid price band. Every board shows when its snapshot was taken.
How current are the boards?
Each board is a snapshot of what eBay reported at the time shown on it, refreshed at most every 10 to 30 minutes depending on the board. Bids and end times will have changed since.
How do I find auctions with no bids yet?
On any board, turn on "Uncontested only". It shows the auctions that had no bids when the snapshot was taken.
Will something I win arrive by Christmas?
We cannot promise that. Each seller sets its own handling time, shown on the listing. USPS recommends shipping by December 17 (Ground Advantage), 18 (Priority Mail) or 19 (Priority Mail Express) for delivery before December 25 in the contiguous US. Check the listing's delivery estimate before you bid.
Does AuctionMapper earn money from these links?
Yes. Links to eBay are affiliate links, so we may earn a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you.
Are other tools better for some jobs?
Yes. For push alerts on a saved search, an alert app such as SeeSpotBid is built for that; for misspelled listings, NoBids.net has a dedicated tool.
